ClickBank Error 404

Problem

I am testing out the ClickBank purchase process. Everything seems to be working fine:

I fill in the first form that asks my name, email address, country and state.

Then, I get to the ClickBank Website and all I see is this:

HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found

Product MYPRODCT-000 is not for sale at this time.

Solution

Your ClickBank product ID is not properly set in your Secure-eBook account.

Step 1

Log into your ClickBank account.

Step 2

Go to “Account Settings→My Products”.

Step 3

Look up the product you are configuring in the product list.

We need the product's Item number. It is written under the Item column at the left of the products list.

Step 4

Go to your Secure-eBook account and edit the product your are configuring.

Step 5

Go to the ClickBank tab

Step 6

Put in the Item number you have noted from the ClickBank Website in the ClickBank Product ID field of your product.

Step 7

Click on Save Changes. The problem should now be fixed.

Step 8

Test the transaction again to make sure that there is no more issues.
