Integrating Secure-eBook to your Website can be very easy! And even more if you are using the Web site provided for free with your subscription to the Secure-eBook Complete Solution.
If you are using the Web site provided by Secure-eBook, adding a button to allow visitors to download a sample of your eBook is easily done.
If you have set your editor in your Web site's administration tools to Wiki, you only have to insert the following code where you want the button to appear:
///sample [Secure-eBook Product Code] ///
You need to replace the [Secure-eBook Product Code] by your product code found in your Secure-eBook account.
If you are not using the Web site provided by Secure-eBook, you will have to do all the work on your own.
If you selected the eBook Activation protection method, you will have to allow people visiting your Web site to download the secured version of your eBook.
When building a secured version of your eBook using the Secure-eBook Packager (see Package eBooks for more information), you get a Windows executable file which is your secured eBook.
By uploading your secured eBook on your Web site and placing a link for your visitors to download it, you allow your potential clients to get the sample version of your eBook and, if interested, the possibility to purchase the full version right from the eBook itself.
To avoid problems with some aggressive Internet security settings, you could decide to place your secure eBook inside a ZIP file before uploading it on your Web site. That can be useful because some Internet security softwares won't allow downloading EXE files or will display some warnings.
If you are not using the eBook Activation protection method, you could upload a file, a PDF file for example, on your Web site which would contain an abstract of your full eBook. Then, you would place a link on your Web site to download the sample file.
The simplest way to do it is by placing a “Buy Now” button on your Web site that will send your clients to Secure-eBook and let Secure-eBook do all the rest of the work.

If you are not using the Web site provided by Secure-eBook, or if you have set your editor in your Secure-eBook Web site's administration tools to XHTML, here's how it's done:
When your clients click on the “Buy Now” button, they will be taken to your product's purchase page, where the Secure-eBook servers will ask them for some information that will later be used to create an order and activation key for them.
Once they fill in this form, they will be taken to your payment processor where they will pay for their activation key.
Once they have paid, they will be shown your product's Thank You page, where they will receive their activation code and download link.
They will also receive this information by email.
Remember: you can always customize your thank you page and email through your product's configuration.
Also, if you wish to provide your own purchase page or your own thank you page, you can find more information in the following articles:
