====== 1ShoppingCart ======

1ShoppingCart's //Digital Products// functionnality enables you to sell eBooks protected with Secure-eBook through your Shopping Cart.

===== How does it work? =====

You can stock your shopping cart with activation keys, which will then be passed on to your clients by the 1ShoppingCart system.

It is done in three easy steps (which we'll detail later)

  - Configure your Shopping Cart to work with digital products\\
  - Add and upload your eBook product to the shopping cart\\
  - Keep the product provisionned with activation keys from Secure-eBook

**Please Note**: You are responsible for keeping your shopping cart stocked with activation keys.  If you let the keys run out, you won't be able to sell eBooks from your shopping cart until you put more in there!


===== What does it look like for your clients? =====

Its rather simple for them.  They add the products they want from your shopping cart.

Once they pay, they'll have a download link that they can use for 24 hours + an activation key

The activation key given to your client will be taken from your 1ShoppingCart provision for this product and won't be given to any other client.

===== How do I set it up? =====


==== Configure your Shopping Cart to work with digital products ====

  - Log in to your 1ShoppingCart account
  - Click on **Cart Setup**
  - Click on **Digital Products**
  - Turn on: **Enable Digital Product / Ebook Licensing**
  - //Recommended// Change **Digital License Username Label** to **Activation key**
  - //Recommended// Change **Digital License Password Label** to **Reference Number**
  - //Recommended// Change **Digital License Email Top Text** to **Your Activation Key and reference number are listed below.  Please use your Activation Key to unlock your eBook.**
  - Save your changes

==== Add and upload your eBook product to the shopping cart ====

Once you have a 1ShoppingCart product ready, follow these steps:

  - Go to the edit page for your product (Products -> Add/Edit Product)
  - Upload your eBook through **Digital Product Filename**

When your eBook is uploaded a new option will appear called //Digital Product Licenses Remaining//


==== Keep the product provisionned with activation keys from Secure-eBook ===

  - From your **Secure-eBook** account, go to **Generate Activation Keys** (under My Activation Keys from the right menu)
  - Select the product for which you need to generate activation keys
  - Select the number of keys you want to generate (make sure that the number of activation per keys is set to what you desire)
  - Click on **Generate Keys**.  Once generated, the keys will be displayed onscreen.
  - Click on **Download for 1ShoppingCart** - its at the end of the page, after all the keys!
  - Save the file on your computer, somewhere where you will be able to find easily. **NB** You can always come back later and redownload the last generated batch of keys for a product.
  - Go back to your product in **1ShoppingCart**
  - Upload your activation keys through **Upload Digital Product Licenses**

And //voilà//, your 1ShoppingCart is provisionned with keys for your secured eBook!
