How do I get legitimate Java and Adobe for my computer? I periodically get messages stating I need to download an updated version of Java. Is that safe to trust that? I currently do not have Adobe which I think is weird. How do I obtain that?

it's normal to update Java all the time. it's safe. just go to java.com and update to the latest version.
