Why eBookTika?

eBookTika is a natural addition to Secure-eBook. Over the two last years, publishers and authors from around the world have registered to Secure-eBook and started selling their eBooks. Today, we have hundreds of publishers and authors selling hundreds of eBooks every week.

By its business model - the pay-per-use model - Secure-eBook always aimed at linking its own success to the success of its clients. So most of our efforts must be spent at offering more services and products that will help our clients to sell more. And this is why we created eBookTika.

How will eBookTika display eBooks?

eBookTika will display eBooks from publishers and authors who has registered them. They will be classified by categories and a search function will help the eBookTika's visitors to find eBooks that match their interests.

When registering your eBook on eBookTika, you will also find options to make your listing more attractive. But over all, all eBook entries on eBookTika will respect layout guidelines to make the library enjoyable for every visitor.

Will there be a link to my Web page?

Yes. In fact, this is the main purpose of eBookTika - promoting eBooks and bringing qualified traffic to publishers and authors' eBook Web pages.

Will the eBookTika visitors be able to download a sample of my eBook?

As an extra value for our Secure-eBook clients, eBookTika integrates itself with Secure-eBook. This means that, if you are a Secure-eBook client, many informations displayed with your entry on eBookTika will come directly from your Secure-eBook account. This will include the eBook title, the author name, the price and a link to the download URL defined in the Secure-eBook product. So if you specify a download URL for your product in your Secure-eBook account, visitors will be able to download a sample of your eBook from eBookTika.

This also means that if you change some information on your product in your Secure-eBook account, the changes will be immediately applied on your eBookTika entry.

Will eBookTika manage the purchase process?

Basically, eBookTika only sends visitors to the eBook's Web page. But again, as a result of a nice integration with Secure-eBook, eBooks listed on eBookTika that are also Secure-eBook products have additional links displayed.

First, as mentioned above, a link to download a sample of the eBook can be displayed.

Also, since Secure-eBook is already able to manage all the purchase process of products defined in Secure-eBook, eBooks in eBookTika that are also Secure-eBook products will show a purchase link that will trigger the Secure-eBook purchase process.

Will eBookTika outmatch other libraries and directories?

eBookTika doesn't pretend to become 'The' eBook Library and make other eBooks libraries and directories useless. Our goal is to become at least as valuable as the most successful libraries on the market.

This is why we will take care to make sure that eBooks listed on eBookTika are all valuable products.

How will eBookTika attract visitors?

As soon as eBookTika is released, there will be efforts done to raise its ranking on all search engines. This will of course include keywords campaigns and banner placement.

Then, once eBookTika will hold an interesting number of eBooks, it's value will increase and partnership opportunities will show up. These partnerships should eventually bring huge volume of traffic to eBookTika.

But the first step is to launch eBookTika and then, we will work at increasing the number of readers who come to visit the site. And when the number of visitors per day will become significant, we will be happy to make the information public.

Will there be any statistics available?

At the moment of the official release of eBookTika, statistics won't be available to publishers and authors. But some statistics, such as the number of times an entry is viewed or clicked will already be compiled. Eventually, tools will be added to allow publishers and authors to get access to these statistics.

When will eBookTika be officially launched?

eBookTika is about ready to be launched. In three or four weeks, the latest entries will be added to eBookTika and the final touch will be done. At that moment, news will be sent and everyone who submitted their eBooks will be informed.

What can you expect from eBookTika?

As mentioned earlier, eBookTika wants to establish an active link between publishers/authors and eBook readers. This will be accomplished as soon as eBookTika is officially released. And with all the upcoming plans we have for eBookTika, we are confident it will definitely bring a lot of new sales to any publisher or author who will list its eBooks on eBookTika.

eBookTika will eventually offer features to publishers and authors such as:

  • Useful statistics on entries listed on eBookTika
  • Cross-selling features making every product sold a possibility to increase other product sales
  • Featured products
  • Reviews from readers
  • Etc.

Interesting features for readers will also be eventually added to eBookTika such as:

  • Building of wish lists
  • Product suggestions
  • Product ratings
  • Product reviews
  • Tagging system for faster product search
  • Subscription for featured products ans specials
  • Etc.
